  1. Hi Andrea,
Great stuff here as usual. I was a student of yours in 2008 in the Berklee course. I’m sure your new book will be well received. I’m still making trips to Nashville, writing with pro writers there and writing with them online. I am always greatful for the solid start you gave me. Thanks again, and I hope your new book is a smashing success.

    1. Hi Allen,
Thanks so much. That’s wonderful that you’re still making trips and writing online. Feel free to direct me to your SoundCloud site, or other, that I could take a listen sometime. Best to you –

  2. Hi Andrea,
If you google, speed pitch allen Kave, the first one on the list is me. When it opens up there should a list of 22 songs that I pitch to folks in Nashville. If it doesn’t, choose “writers” at the top of the page and I will be in there. Most of these have had interest or still do. Most are country, but “The Flame” is R&B and the one titled “Instrumental”, has a Latin feel. Probably get the most interest on “An Old River Bank”, “Things I Wish I Did” and “Where Love Used To Live”.

Please let me know what you think, but remember you had a big influence on me so it’s not all my fault! Just kidding:)

    Talk to you soon,
    Allen

  3. Andrea,

What happened to your new title “Beginning Songwriting”? Amazon notified me that they won’t be able to ship it, and Berklee doesn’t list it either. Has it been cancelled?
